Check your plan before registering
If you have built a Wix website, confirm that the selected plan supports a custom domain. Then choose a name that matches the brand and is easy to share. Registration at ESDomain keeps the domain renewal separate from the website builder. The website connection itself is configured through your Wix account.
Nameservers or DNS pointing
Wix documents two connection methods for externally registered names. With nameservers, Wix manages the DNS zone. With pointing, the existing DNS service remains in place and the required website records are changed. Choose after establishing where email records and other existing service connections will be maintained.
Check forms, images and the primary address
Follow the values displayed for your Wix site and check its connection status. Visit the published address in a fresh window and test contact forms. If you changed nameservers, also review records unrelated to the website. Keep a copy of the resulting settings and check the domain renewal date in your ESDomain account.
From name to account
- Search for the name and check availability.
- Choose one or three years and complete the registrant details.
- Review payment and wait for registration confirmation in your account.
