Controller and contact
Configurix Limited, operating ESDomain, is responsible for the data described here. Contact address: 2A Lower Main Street, Lucan, Co. Dublin, K78 X5P8, Ireland. Send privacy questions and rights requests to support@esdomain.es.
Updated: 2 November 2026. You can search, register and manage domains, access your account and use support. Availability of each additional service is shown before ordering.
Data and purposes
Account and support: email address, language choice, messages, requests and linked domain details. We use these to send sign-in links, respond, verify that an operation belongs to your account and carry out your instructions.
When ordering: name, company where applicable, address, phone, email, identifiers required by the extension, administrative contacts and order consents. Details of a contact you appoint must be accurate and that person should receive this notice. DNS records can contain personal information: avoid publishing private details in them.
Security: our infrastructure processes IP addresses, technical request data and access or operation events to detect abuse, limit requests and investigate incidents. Approximate country information selects the initial language; your manual choice takes priority. We do not use location to change prices.
Legal bases
Account access, requested management and orders are processed to perform our contract or take steps you request before a contract. Fraud prevention, security and handling claims serve our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its users. Accounting records and mandatory disclosures are processed to meet legal obligations. If an activity requires consent, we will request it separately; you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use.
You do not need to provide details to read our guides. Without a valid email we cannot provide account access; without required holder and registry details we cannot process a domain. Creating an account does not subscribe you to advertising campaigns.
Recipients
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and database. SiteGround provides support email and sign-in delivery. ClouDNS processes zones and records when you use our nameservers. Openprovider and the relevant registry receive details needed to register or manage domains and, if you order email, provide that service. Published DNS records are publicly accessible. Public access to holder information depends on registry rules and applicable law.
Stripe processes payments. We receive payment references and status, amounts and details needed for billing; card fields are entered on Stripe. Stripe also processes certain information as a controller for its own security and compliance obligations. We may disclose information to authorities or advisers where necessary and legally justified. We do not sell your personal data.
International processing
Our suppliers use international infrastructure, including the United States; we do not promise EEA-only storage. Transfers requiring safeguards need a valid mechanism such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses and relevant supplementary measures. Cloudflare and Stripe describe these mechanisms in their processing agreements linked below. Ask our privacy contact for information about recipients, locations and safeguards applying to your data, and a copy of safeguards where applicable. Links to our suppliers’ policies are provided at the end of this notice.
Retention
Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and are invalidated on use. Sessions last at most 30 days and are invalidated on sign-out; periodic cleanup removes expired records. The language cookie lasts one year. Account and domain data are retained while needed for active service, transfer or closure. You can request closure of an account with no active services.
For support messages and operation evidence, retention depends on resolving the request, open security investigations and applicable claim periods. Accounting obligations can require records to be kept for six years. Any longer retention needs a specific legal reason. Account closure does not automatically remove retention obligations of the registrar, registry or payment provider; we will review what can be erased and what must be restricted.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection where applicable by writing to support@esdomain.es. We will verify identity proportionately. You can also withdraw consent and complain to the supervisory authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred, including Ireland’s Data Protection Commission. We do not use your data for solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Technical availability and security checks may need human review; contact support if you believe a result is wrong.
