Identify the accommodation clearly
A property name, small hotel identity or accommodation brand may work better than a generic phrase that is difficult to remember. Check that the address is not confused with a booking portal or another establishment. For several properties, decide whether to use one shared brand or a separate address for a particular project.
Separate registration from booking services
Connect the domain to a website or compatible booking engine. Registration does not include room availability, payments or calendar synchronisation. Confirm those features with your chosen platform. If you handle several languages, prepare pages and replies the team can maintain. Accommodation information must also meet the requirements applicable to your activity.
Keep access through management changes
Agree who owns the name when an owner, property manager and designer are involved. Retain renewal dates and a copy of email DNS records. Before switching nameservers, check confirmation links and enquiry forms. An organised handover helps keep the website accessible after a management or design arrangement ends.
From name to account
- Search for the name and check availability.
- Choose one or three years and complete the registrant details.
- Review payment and wait for registration confirmation in your account.
A search does not reserve the name. If an order needs review, its status appears in your account and support can help.
