Choose for the organisation and its work
An association may need an address for its mission, enquiries and activities. Compare .es and .org.es against the name and the organisation’s eligibility. A .org.es registration requires a qualifying non-profit organisation. A commercial project should not choose it simply because a preferred name appears available under that extension.
Maintain control when the committee changes
Register the domain in the organisation’s name and identify an authorised individual as its contact. Document who receives notices and who checks renewal. Avoid making the domain depend exclusively on a volunteer’s personal inbox. Review account access when committee membership changes or a website design engagement ends.
Keep participation tools organised
Connect a website, email service or external registration platform using its DNS instructions. If you collect membership details or donations, establish where data is stored and which service handles payments. Domain registration is purchased separately. Before publicising the address, test forms and message delivery from an external inbox.

- Review payment and wait for registration confirmation in your account.
