YOUR OWN ADDRESS

Register .es domains for agency clients

Organise client domains with clear ownership, accurate contact details and a documented DNS and renewal handover.

Separate the client from the website builder

When an agency helps register a domain, the registrant details should identify the person or organisation that will retain it. Establish that responsibility before billing for the project. Use the client’s account when they need direct domain management. ESDomain provides account and domain controls, with no promise of agency subaccounts or a separate reseller system.

Collect details before handover

Prepare the legal name, address, email and identification required by the extension. For an organisation using .es, identify its authorised representative too. Send the client a list of missing details instead of inventing information to complete a form. Explain the initial price, purchased term and later renewal cost before the order is approved.

Leave an understandable configuration

Document where the domain is renewed, who hosts the website and which provider runs email. Include a copy of the records and the date you checked the connection. At the end of the project, review access that is no longer needed. A future designer should be able to understand how the services connect without guessing who controls each one.

From name to account

  1. Search for the name and check availability.
  2. Choose one or three years and complete the registrant details.
  3. Review payment and wait for registration confirmation in your account.

A search does not reserve the name. If an order needs review, its status appears in your account and support can help.
